With over 30 years of experience behind the decks, Tom Whitaker — performing as GOODFOOT — has built a career defined by passion, versatility, technical skill, and deep musical knowledge. His musical journey started in 1992, building his foundation on turntables and showcasing his skills in DMC, Guitar Center, and Zulu Nation DJ battles. Since then, Tom’s career has spanned diverse stages and audiences — from his early days in radio at 103.5 KBMB in Sacramento and recording an album and touring with the Mystic Roots Band, to entertaining thousands during spring break in Rosarito, Mexico. He continues to bring his dynamic performances to underground clubs, corporate events, school dances, and premier nightlife venues throughout the Bay Area and Northern California.

Recognized for his ability to read any crowd and seamlessly move across many genres — from Hip-Hop and R&B to EDM, Latin, Funk, Rock, Afro beats and Afro House with open-format audio and video mixing — GOODFOOT brings a unique energy to every set. His performances go beyond playlists: each mix is crafted to tell a story, transform the night, and leave people with memories that last long after the music fades.
